More To Life 04:12
What will we see, We're going out tonight The stories believed Are they out of their minds? Taken straight Where we were warned about The others will leave And we'll be left behind. The light is fading The sun parts company Will there be answers Of any kind Holding position We are one with the night now Full of suspicion As to what we'll find Then I was staring into a light No matter what i'd do It kept in sight I saw it all with my own eyes So what I'm saying to you May surprise They were right! I changed my mind Once it was proven there's so much more, More To Life! Into the trees Hope is holding out tonight Though people believe The chances will decline It's so hard to see It's really coming down now Washing away The odds of any sign They're feeling deceived The trail went silent now They're starting to grieve There's nothing there to find Well I was staring into the night No matter where I'd move It didn't feel right. Then I saw it with my own eyes So what I'm saying to you May Surprise Try as they might! To change my mind It's been proven there's so much more More To Life!

The Imposter 04:25
All the time the talk is small I slide my way down the hall It's a miracle I'm even here at all I'm stepping closer to my fall So let's play out the part You be the speaker and I will listen Pretend I can relate A nod and a smile, a point I'm missing All I'm hoping for Is we find something here to foster Or you'll find out who I am The Imposter My attention tends to sway Toward the bad things they say It's irrelevant I'm leaving anyway I'm getting closer to that day So let's play out the part You be the speaker and I will listen Pretend I can relate A nod and a smile, a point I'm missing All I'm hoping for Is we find something here to foster Or you'll find out who I am The Imposter Next time I will try To keep the faith in what I've been given And hold my head up high to nod and smile with full precision And I will give my all In search of something here to foster Forgetting who I am The Imposter

A thank you, Is it all I need? Am I the best I can be? Measured to what degree? And will I Find out what this means? Been missing the mark, I see Where should I aim to be? I want to believe In what cannot be seen In the space in between I gave up the search Seems I'm out of time Rather than seeking What was on my mind I'd been crossing fingers For those who are blind. But I'll try For my final scene Keeping my conscience clean Keeping my conscience clean Still I want to believe In what cannot be seen In the space in between I gave up the search Seems I'm out of time Rather than seeking What was on my mind I'd been crossing fingers For those who are blind. Now I start to fear When I close my eyes It seemed real to me Through the darkest nights So this is how we learn How to live our lives?

Is something pushing me around? If I look behind me, will a set of prints be found? I was once a well-known creature in this town Such a shame I can't wait for them to burn it down. I just want to see The forest for the trees To know what's missing in me Is the shimmer of the leaves The deeper you're in, the higher the chance that you will drown Oh the voices silence me amongst the crowd I couldn't play along I was always too proud In search of those to whom I'd honour and bow down I just want to see Where the river takes the stream To know when I'm down on my knees Something great flows through me I just want to see The sunlight pouring over me When I have a growing need To become what I need to be Is there something left for me Help to break out of the seed For once.

Flowers 04:51
Recall where you had been Another broken scene The last placed you'd choose It held the most to lose Let your defences fall Worn down by standing tall Waking up from the dream Things aren't quite as they seem They laughed and played along Making a slave of the strong In all the wrong they'd done Search for the smoking gun And while I tried to care So little you would share I never meant you harm Just slow to raise the alarm Thrown to the wolves below Now they will never know The flowers we could find Deep in the back of your mind.

Potential 03:31
You never sought out influence As something to be achieved Just sharing all your common sense Pointing out we are aggrieved Acting on your dissonance Quickly labelled naive But in your so called ignorance You planted as seed. You made them believe You made them believe In all they could be Much more, potentially. So focused on all that I lack Never one to agree I could bring the meaning back To everything I can see Always one for instant fix I'd take all I could receive And acting on my tenderness It's when I want to leave I'd start to believe In all I could be Potentially free My humble plea You've dropped down a key I'm going beneath To fight to set free From all That shackles me.

Confession 03:30
If I told you of my worried mind Would we wade through all I've kept inside? Would you help me lift this guilt of mine? Behind the curtain, would I see a smile? A hope I hold on to A faith I never knew I cast my net so wide And though I do need to I won't be seeking you In fear it's empty on the other side This weight I carry through On passing time, it grew And slowly shortened my stride. Yet when I do need to, I won't be seeking you Fearing no one's on the other side.

Applause 03:40
Rarely do we meet the need to try Reaching into shadow from the light Chances we should never let go by To meet the monster hiding in the night By any means we're trying to derive A destination we can all define To fill us with a sense that we'll arrive Through steady plans we're looking to refine My ambitions never allow For me to stray from what I vow Nothing to distract from all I aim to be The realisation I'm in control of all that is front of me We're told that all we ever have is now And each and every moment is complete I'm less convinced I still wonder how For some, mere existence is a feat Let's hold belief nothing good comes for free And effort must be met by some reward If in the end there is nothing to see Perhaps then we'll reflect and applaud My ambitions never allow For me to stray what I vow The never ending search for all I aim to be The realisation I'm in control of all that is front of me.
